Thanks to everyone who came to the Glasshouse New York Cocktail reception on Tuesday the 17th of November. It was one of the first in a series of informal invitation-only mixer events during the holiday season and Glasshouse will be back with a more formal program of events in 2010. The evening also served as an opportunity to introduce some British startups who were in town for the week as part of the Digital Mission to the Web 2.0 New York Expo.

It's great to be back in New York and to hear that so many of you are looking forward to what's coming in 2010. We'd love to hear what you think Glasshouse should be providing for entrepreneurs and investors in the city, both in terms of events and other member services. So please do get in touch if you have ideas that you'd like us to take on or would like to be involved in, including one of the informal suppers that we'll be running to plan 2010.

Finally, this event would not have been possible without the support of Sam Michel, Emily Fisher and Juliet Nwekenta at Chinwag and George Rudenauer of Remy Cointreau USA. We'd like to sincerely thank them for helping to make the evening such a success. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

The Glasshouse was founded in 1998 to provide support encouragement and inspiration to entrepreneurs across all sectors. Our success in London spawned events in San Francisco, Prague and Sydney, and we are proud to be delivering a third year of dynamic programming in New York.

‘Glasshouse events bring style and wit to the entrepreneurial set, you can’t chuck a brick without hitting a mogul or a maven!’

'Having recently sponsored a Glasshouse event, I can honestly say they delivered an ROI that exceeded my expectations. The way the Glasshouse presented my brand as an integral part of their event delivered credible outreach to their diverse audience. It is a pure pleasure to do business with them.'
