It has been hard to miss the explosive growth in social gaming over the last year with seemingly all of us turning into either farmers, jewel hunters or pet keepers! Casual social gaming, particularly within Facebook, has truly gone mass market and Playfish have been right in the thick of it with games like Pet Society racking up over 19m monthly players as of last month.

Without doubt Playfish are one of the hottest companies in one of THE hottest sectors right now (EA certainly thought so when they acquired them for $300m last year) and we hope you are able to join us for an evening with founder and General Manager, Kristian Segerstrale, the latest in our popular series of events where we cast the spotlight on standout digital innovators and internet heroes.

Kristian will be sharing his views on social gaming and also what it's like to be on the inside, as an entrepreneur, of a major acquisition deal. A fascinating evening in store!

We look forward to seeing you.

Our panellists will include representatives from top European investors as well as highly regarded, funded entrepreneurs. We'll post final details on the panel members on our website in the next

Topics will include: What it takes to get your business investment ready. How to decide how much to raise. Valuation. Where to find the best angels and early stage investors? What to look for when choosing an investor? How many investors to approach? What are investors looking for from you? How the investment deal and due diligence process works. How to get the most from your investor post deal.

The workshop will be held in the same venue as the Social Gaming event.
